Fish Insurance
In August 2007 mpe invested £5.4m of development capital in Fish Insurance, a Preston based market leading insurance company specialising in the disabled sector. The Company is focussed on providing insurance solutions for disabled people to enable them to take advantage of the Government's Independent Living initiative.
During the period of ownership new products were introduced and the business grew substantially.
In June 2010 mpe successfully exited the business by way of a secondary buyout backed by Inflexion Private Equity.
